Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the organization's financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and leadership team on financial planning and business growth.
- Drive long-term financial sustainability and value creation.
- Support business expansion, investments, mergers, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business planning processes.
- Analyze financial performance and recommend corrective actions to improve profitability.
- Present periodic financial reports and management insights to senior leadership and the Board.
- Establish and monitor key financial KPIs.
Financial Operations
- Oversee accounting, treasury, taxation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Ensure efficient cash flow management and working capital optimization.
- Monitor capital expenditure and operational costs.
- Improve financial processes through automation and best practices.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, statutory regulations, taxation laws, and corporate governance requirements.
- Manage statutory audits, internal audits, and regulatory reporting.
- Strengthen financial controls, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
- Ensure timely completion of all financial and regulatory filings.
Risk Management
- Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Maintain appropriate insurance coverage and business continuity plans.
- Monitor liquidity, credit, market, and operational risks.
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, auditors, consultants, investors, and regulatory authorities.
- Support fundraising activities, financing arrangements, and capital management.
- Represent the finance function in leadership and Board discussions.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement.
- Drive capability building and succession planning within the finance function.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong financial strategy and business acumen.
- Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reporting.
- Sound knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, auditing, and corporate finance.
- Experience in treasury management and cash flow optimization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities.

Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory.
Experience
- 15–25 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, and financial leadership.
- Proven experience leading finance functions at a senior leadership level.
- Demonstrated ability to drive financial transformation and strategic business initiatives.
