Join BMWTechWorks India in the Digital Product Engineering cluster as a Chassis component simulation engineer. The candidate will be part of the department Driving Dynamics, Driver Assistance, which is responsible at BMW M GmbH for the design and simulation of chassis components. The main tasks are the meshing, modeling of chassis components, simulation and interpretation of the results.

The generation of reports is also part of the required skills. The team members should have good knowledge about CAE methods for evaluating and optimizing components with regard to dynamic/static stiffness, strength requirements and durability/fatigue.

What should you bring along

- Educational background: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field

- Knowledge (expert) of solver NASTRAN, ABAQUS and FEMFAT, pre-processing tool ANSA, post-processing tools MetaPost and Animator

- Programming skills are desired (Python).

- Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required,



German language knowledge as plus.

- Collaboration: Solid teamwork and communication skills; ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams

Must have technical skill

- Nastran, Abaqus, Femfat

- CAE-Bench 2 (preferable), ANSA, META, Animator, Python, MS-Office, Linux

Good to have Technical skills

- Simulation/code and scripting: Advanced Python skills for data processing and automation

- CAD/Engineering drawings: Proficiency with reading and interpreting technical drawings

- Language: German language capability (even basic) to support local communication
