Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Goa, India.

The Chartered

Accountant will oversee financial accounting, statutory compliance, and reporting for the company, including preparation and review of financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow statements. The role involves managing direct and indirect taxation, GST filings, TDS, and liaising with auditors, regulatory authorities, and banks as needed. The individual will monitor budgeting, cost control, and variance analysis to support management in financial planning and decision-making,



especially related to fleet operations, warehousing, and logistics projects. Day-to-day responsibilities also include strengthening internal controls, ensuring accurate documentation, supporting ERP/accounting system improvements, and providing timely financial insights to leadership.

Qualifications

- Professional qualification as Chartered Accountant (CA), with active registration and good standing.
- Strong foundation in financial accounting and reporting, including preparation and analysis of financial statements.
- Expertise in taxation and compliance, including GST, TDS, corporate tax, and familiarity with Indian accounting and regulatory standards.
- Experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial planning, ideally within logistics, transportation, or related industries.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets.
- Ability to design and maintain robust internal controls, audit readiness, and risk management practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, external auditors, and financial institutions.
- Demonstrated integrity, professional ethics, and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Prior experience in a logistics, transport, or warehousing setting is an advantage.
