Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Dhanbad.

The Chartered

Accountant will handle statutory, tax, and internal audits, including planning, execution, and documentation of audit procedures for corporate and PSU clients.

Responsibilities include preparation and review of financial statements, tax computations, and filings under direct and indirect tax laws, as well as advising clients on tax planning and regulatory compliance. The role involves analyzing financial data, identifying control gaps, preparing reports, and presenting findings to senior team members and clients.

Accountant will also collaborate with team members, support juniors, maintain skilled standards, and stay updated with changes in accounting and tax regulations.

Qualifications

- Qualified Chartered Accountant with valid membership in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, auditing standards, and financial reporting frameworks.
- Exposure to statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits of corporate entities and PSUs.
- Solid understanding of direct and indirect taxation, including compliance, returns, and advisory.
- Proficiency in accounting and audit software, Microsoft Excel, and other office productivity tools.
- Ability to interpret financial data, identify issues, and provide practical recommendations.
- Effective communication and report-writing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong ethical standards, integrity, and commitment to professional conduct.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
- Prior experience with multi-branch audits or large corporate/PSU clients is an advantage.
