Job Summary

We are looking for a polite, responsible, and customer-friendly Cashier cum Sales Assistant to manage billing, handle cash and digital payments, assist customers with product selection, and support day-to-day sweet shop counter operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service.
- Take customer orders and assist them in selecting sweets, snacks, and other products.
- Operate the POS/billing system and generate accurate bills.
- Handle cash, UPI, card, and other payment methods.
- Maintain accurate cash and billing records and ensure proper cash handling.
- Pack and hand over customer orders correctly and neatly.
- Check product quantity, quality, packaging, and displayed prices.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of the sales counter and display area.
- Refill and arrange products on shelves/display counters as required.
- Coordinate with the kitchen/production team for customer orders and product availability.
- Handle customer queries and resolve minor complaints politely.
- Assist with stock checking and inform the supervisor about low-stock or damaged items.
- Follow shop hygiene, food-safety, and company procedures.




- Perform other duties related to sales and counter operations as assigned by the manager.

Requirements
- Minimum 10th/12th pass; relevant experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a sweet shop, bakery, restaurant, retail store, or cashier role is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of billing/POS systems and digital payments.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Basic calculation and cash-handling ability.
- Honest, punctual, well-groomed, and responsible.
- Able to work standing for extended periods and during weekends/festive seasons.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Working Conditions

- Full-time, on-site position.
- Shift-based work may be required.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and during festivals/peak business hours.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
