Job Title: Cafe Manager

Job Summary: The Caf Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the daily operations of the caf, ensuring high standards of customer service, product quality, and employee performance. This role requires a combination of leadership, business acumen, and a passion for creating a welcoming environment for customers. The Caf Manager is accountable for the financial success of the caf, staff training and development, inventory management, and maintaining health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Operations Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the caf, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that the caf is always clean, organized, and well-maintained, including the front of house, kitchen, and restrooms.

- Team Leadership
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise caf staff, including baristas, housekeeping executives, and kitchen staff.
- Schedule shifts and manage employee performance, providing regular feedback and coaching.
- Foster a positive, inclusive work workplace that encourages teamwork and professional growth.

- Customer Service
- Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, handling any complaints or issues in a professional manner.
- Develop customer loyalty programs and other initiatives to enhance customer retention.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of all food and beverages served.

- Financial Management
- Manage the cafs budget, monitor expenses, and work to achieve financial targets, including sales, profit margins, and cost control.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including daily sales, inventory costs, and labor expenses.




- Implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability, such as promotions, menu changes, and upselling techniques.
- Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and manage waste to minimize losses and optimize stock levels.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the best prices and quality.

- Health and Safety Compliance
- Ensure that the caf complies with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
- Conduct regular safety checks and training sessions to maintain a safe working environment.
- Keep all necessary certifications and licenses up to date.

- Marketing and Community Engagement
- Develop and implement local marketing strategies to increase visibility and attract customers.
- Organize and promote events, such as live music, workshops, or community gatherings, to build customer engagement.
- Use social media and other digital platforms to promote the caf and engage with customers.

- Qualifications: Graduate
- Experience: (Min - 3 years )
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a caf or coffee shop setting.
- Strong understanding of caf operations, including food and beverage preparation, customer service, and staff management.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle complaints and feedback professionally.
- Financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
