Job Summary

We are looking for a CAD Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Autodesk Inventor, VB.NET, iLogic, and CAD Automation. The candidate will be responsible for automating mechanical design workflows, developing intelligent CAD models, product configurators, and parameter-driven engineering solutions.

The ideal candidate should have a strong combination of Mechanical Design + CAD Automation + Programming skills and experience working with Autodesk Inventor in a manufacturing/product design workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop high-quality 3D mechanical models and 2D manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
- Create parts, large assemblies, and General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
- Develop and deploy iLogic rules to automate repetitive design and engineering processes.
- Write and maintain VB.NET scripts/programs for CAD automation within Autodesk Inventor.
- Develop parameter-driven CAD templates, intelligent CAD masters, and automated design workflows.




- Build and maintain Product Configurators for Configure-to-Order (CTO) and Engineer-to-Order (ETO) applications.
- Develop customized Inventor Forms/User Interfaces to simplify engineering inputs and automate rule execution.
- Automate Bill of Materials (BOM) extraction and support integration/data migration into ERP systems.
- Identify opportunities for improving CAD productivity through automation and standardization.
- Provide technical support to engineering teams for automated modelling workflows.
- Create and maintain documentation, standards, and guidelines for CAD Automation processes.
- Collaborate with mechanical design and manufacturing teams to develop efficient automated solutions.
