We are seeking a energetic and result-oriented Business Development Manager (Tendering & Business Acquisition) to drive our growth in the Wastewater Treatment and Water Infrastructure sector. In this role, you will lead end-to-end bid management, identify government and private tender opportunities, and coordinate techno-commercial proposals for CETP, ETP, STP, ZLD, and EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Tender Identification & Opportunity Mapping

- Monitor and identify business opportunities across Government, Semi-Government, PSUs, Municipal Corporations, and Private Industries.
- Track tenders via CPP Portal, GeM, State e-Procurement Portals, and consultant networks.
- Maintain the bid calendar and evaluate bid eligibility (Go/No-Go recommendations).

2. End-to-End Bid Management

- Lead complete tender management from enquiry receipt to online/physical submission.
- Analyze tender documents, technical specifications, BOQs, and commercial/contractual terms.
- Develop bid strategies and ensure timely submission.

3. Techno-Commercial Proposal Preparation

- Collaborate with Process, Engineering, Estimation, Finance, and Legal teams to prepare technical compliance statements.
- Develop commercial proposals, costing models, pricing strategies, and margin analyses.

4. Government Tender & Portal Handling

- Manage participation in EPC, Design-Build, O&M;, BOT, HAM, and turnkey projects.
- Coordinate the preparation of EMD, Tender Fees, Bank Guarantees, Power of Attorney, and statutory documentation.

5. Liaison & Stakeholder Management

- Connect with consultants, government authorities, project management consultants (PMCs), and industrial clients.




- Attend pre-bid meetings and handle post-bid technical and commercial clarifications.

6. Business Development & Negotiation

- Build relationships with CETP operators, Industrial Associations, and Pollution Control Authorities to map upcoming projects.
- Participate in techno-commercial discussions and price negotiations to finalize contracts.

7. Market Intelligence & MIS

- Monitor competitor pricing, technologies, and market trends.
- Maintain bid trackers, monthly tender status reports, and forecast future order bookings.

Candidate Profile

Preferred Education:

- UG: B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical, Environmental, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
- PG: MBA in Marketing or Operations is highly preferred.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

- Proven track record in business development and tendering specifically within CETP, ETP, STP, ZLD, or Industrial Wastewater Treatment of at least 5 years.
- Strong hands-on experience with government e-procurement portals (GeM, Central & State portals).
- Deep understanding of various project models like EPC, O&M;, BOT, and HAM.
- Excellent negotiation, techno-commercial evaluation, and documentation skills.
- Strong network among environmental consultants and government authorities.
