Business Development Executive – PurpleIPD Location: Mumbai / Ahmedabad / Noida /Jaipur /Indore Experience: 0.6–1.5 years in sales/BD (freshers with strong internship sales exposure may also apply) Reports to: Sales Team Lead Company: PurpleBits Infosystems Pvt. Ltd. – makers of PurpleIPD, a tablet-based, on-premise, ABDM-ready paperless bedside IPD platform used across 20+ Indian cities.
About the Role We're looking for young, energetic MBA graduates who love the thrill of a good pitch and aren't afraid of a "no." You'll be meeting hospital CMDs, Medical Directors, and COOs, understanding their pain points, and showing them how PurpleIPD can transform their bedside documentation — while protecting their data on-premise.
What You'll Do Generate and follow up on leads for PurpleIPD in your city/region
Set up and conduct meetings/demos with hospital decision-makers (CMDs, Medical Directors, COOs)
Understand hospital workflows and tailor pitches around real pain points (billing errors, TAT, compliance)
Negotiate commercials and close deals within defined guidelines
Coordinate with the central sales/product team for proposals, demos, and follow-ups
Maintain CRM/lead trackers and report weekly progress
Represent PurpleIPD at local hospital association events, health-tech meetups Who You Are MBA (Sales/Marketing preferred), with ~1 year of hands-on sales experience
Genuinely enjoy convincing people and closing conversations — not just "managing" leads
Comfortable with cold outreach, field visits, and face-to-face hospital meetings
Good spoken English + local language (Hindi/Gujarati/Marathi as relevant to city)
Willing to travel within city and occasionally to nearby towns
Bonus: prior exposure to healthcare, SaaS, or B2B enterprise sales
