Role Description This is a full-time, in office Business Development Executive role based in Chennai. The role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities across Praathee Media’s service offerings, including app development, digital marketing, cloud services, and enterprise solutions.

The Business Development

Executive will conduct market research, build and manage a pipeline of prospects, schedule and lead client meetings, and deliver presentations and proposals that align with client needs. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with technical and marketing teams to create tailored solutions, negotiating commercial terms, and supporting contract closure.



The role also requires maintaining solid relationships with existing clients, tracking sales performance, and providing regular reports and insights to management.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline management, with the ability to research and target relevant industries and clients.
- Experience in consultative selling, client relationship management, and solution-based sales for digital or technology services.
- Ability to understand and communicate value propositions related to web and mobile development, digital marketing, cloud, and enterprise solutions.
- Solid presentation, negotiation, and communication skills, including drafting proposals and delivering client-focused demos.
- Basic understanding of digital technologies such as mobile apps, web platforms, cloud computing, e-commerce, and blockchain is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple opportunities and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent business education is an advantage.
- Prior experience in business development or sales within IT services, digital agencies, or technology companies is preferred.
- Comfort working in an on-site, collaborative environment in Chennai and willingness to meet clients in person as required.
