About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and result-oriented Business Development Executive to join our NVOCC Sales team in Chennai and Tuticorin.

Freshers with a strong interest in the shipping and logistics industry are welcome to apply. Candidates with prior experience in NVOCC, freight forwarding, shipping, logistics, or liner sales will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop current business opportunities in the shipping and logistics sector.
- Generate new customers and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Promote the company's NVOCC services, freight solutions, and shipping services.
- Visit customers, exporters, importers, freight forwarders, and other potential clients to generate business.
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable shipping and freight solutions.
- Prepare quotations and coordinate with the pricing and operations teams.
- Follow up on leads, quotations, and business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
- Maintain regular communication with customers and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.




- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and freight rates.
- Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, leads, and sales activities.

Requirements

- Freshers are welcome, especially candidates interested in building a career in shipping and logistics.
- Candidates with experience in NVOCC, shipping, freight forwarding, logistics, or liner sales are preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong interest in sales and business development.
- Ability to communicate confidently with customers and develop business relationships.
- Willingness to travel and meet customers when required.
- Basic knowledge of shipping terms and documentation will be an advantage.
- Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.
