Business Development Executive – PlantIQ& Digital Industrial Solutions

About the Role
Industrial IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (IITSOL) is expanding into Industrial Digital Solutions with the launch of PlantIQ – Smart Industrial Intelligence Platform , built in collaboration with InstaData.
We are looking for a Business Development Executive (BDE) who is energetic, confident, and eager to build a career in Digital Solutions, Industrial Automation Sales, and Industry 4.0 technologies .
This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh graduate to learn industrial sales, product demos, digital marketing, customer engagement, and technical coordination under expert guidance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Market Research
- Identify new potential customers through LinkedIn, industry databases, and field research.
- Generate leads for PlantIQ and other digital solutions in sectors like Power, Sugar, Cement, Water, Solar, etc.
- Maintain and update lead lists, CRM entries, and follow-up trackers.
2. Customer Engagement & Communication
- Make introductory calls, emails, and online messages to prospective clients.
- Schedule meetings, demos, and technical discussions with senior BD and technical teams.
- Represent IITSOL professionally during customer visits and online meetings.
3. Product Demonstration Support
- Understand PlantIQ features, dashboards, protocols, and use cases (training will be provided).
- Assist in live product demos and prepare demo scripts.
- Support customers during trial or PoC (Proof of Concept) stages through coordination.
4. Proposal & Documentation Support
- Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, BOQs, and tender documentation.
- Draft and maintain meeting notes, MOMs, timelines, and follow-up plans.
- Coordinate internally with technical, engineering, and software teams.
5. Marketing & Promotion
- Support PlantIQ marketing campaigns, webinar coordination, and social media posting.
- Help create brochures, case studies, presentation decks, and promotional content.
- Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and customer seminars (as required).
6. Learning & Development
- Gain understanding of PLC/SCADA basics, industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC-UA, MQTT), and Industry 4.0 concepts.
- Stay updated with market trends, competitor offerings, and new digital technologies.
Skills Required
Must Have
- Good communication skills (verbal + written).
- Confident personality with customer-facing attitude.
- Basic understanding of computers, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong interest in industrial automation, digitalization, or tech-sales domain.
- Ability to research, learn fast, and work proactively.
Good to Have (Training will be provided)
- Exposure to PLC/SCADA/IoT concepts.
- Understanding of industrial sectors like power, sugar, cement, water, or manufacturing.
- Basic experience in sales, internship, or academic projects is a plus.
- Knowledge of LinkedIn marketing or Canva design tools.
