Role Overview
We're looking for a motivated intern to support TIL's business development efforts and gain hands-on exposure to agri-food policy and regulatory advisory work. This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants real client-facing and research experience, not routine busywork.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Outreach
Conduct contact data mining — identifying and verifying decision-makers (name, designation, email, phone) at target companies across agri-processing, food, marine, and animal husbandry sectors
Draft and send warm-up outreach emails introducing TIL's services
Support cold-call pitching for TIL's advisory and newsletter services, under guidance
Track outreach, follow-ups, and conversion status in a shared CRM/tracker
Assist in converting qualified leads into client conversations, coordinating scheduling and follow-up materials
Policy & Regulatory Advisory Support
Assist in tracking and summarizing central and state agri-food policy changes relevant to client sectors
Support research for monthly policy monitoring briefs
Help compile background material for policy submissions, comment letters, and representations
Assist with sectoral market research inputs for client deliverables
Who We're Looking For
Currently pursuing or recently completed an advanced degree in agriculture, public policy, law, economics, business, or a related field
Robust written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable with cold outreach and speaking to business stakeholders professionally
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working with minimal supervision once trained
Genuine interest in agri-food policy, trade, and regulatory affairs
Prior internship/research experience is a plus but not mandatory
