Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Branch Head – Interiors to lead and manage the overall operations and business performance of the interior design and execution branch. The Branch Head will be responsible for business growth, revenue, profitability, project execution, client relationships, team management, collections, and operational excellence. The role requires strong leadership, commercial understanding, and extensive experience in interior fit-out / turnkey projects.

The ideal candidate should have a strong network in the interiors and construction industry, excellent client-management skills, and the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Branch Business & P&L; Management

- Take complete ownership of the branch's revenue, profitability, operational performance, and growth.
- Develop and execute annual and monthly business plans for the branch.
- Set revenue, order-book, gross-margin, and profitability targets.
- Monitor branch performance against budgets and business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for business expansion and new market segments.
- Prepare regular business performance reports for senior management.
- Ensure branch operations are aligned with the company's overall business strategy.

2. Business Development & Sales

- Drive new business opportunities in commercial interiors, corporate offices, retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, and other interior segments.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, consultants, PMC firms, developers, and corporate decision-makers.
- Lead client meetings, presentations, negotiations, and commercial discussions.
- Identify and pursue new projects, tenders, referrals, and strategic business opportunities.
- Build a strong project pipeline and ensure healthy order-book growth.
- Work closely with the Business Development and Design teams to convert opportunities into projects.




- Ensure proposals and commercial submissions are competitive and profitable.

3. Project & Execution Management

- Oversee the execution of all projects handled by the branch.
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed cost, quality, scope, and timelines.
- Monitor project progress through Project Managers and Site teams.
- Review project schedules, resource requirements, procurement, and site execution.
- Identify project risks, delays, and cost overruns and take timely corrective action.
- Ensure proper coordination between Design, Procurement, Projects, Finance, and Site teams.
- Conduct regular project review meetings and monitor critical project milestones.
- Ensure compliance with company processes and project quality standards.

4. Client & Stakeholder Management

- Act as the senior point of contact for key clients and strategic accounts.
- Build long-term relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Handle escalations related to project execution, quality, commercial matters, and timelines.
- Lead negotiations and resolution of critical client issues.
- Ensure timely communication and qualified engagement with clients and stakeholders.
- Develop opportunities for repeat business and client referrals.

5. Commercial & Financial Management

- Monitor project profitability and branch-level gross margins.
- Review project budgets, costing, procurement, and commercial commitments.
- Ensure effective cost control and minimize project wastage and losses.
- Monitor billing, collections, outstanding payments, and cash flow.
- Coordinate with Finance to ensure timely invoicing and collection from clients.
- Review project variations, additional works, and change orders.




- Ensure commercial decisions support the overall profitability of the branch.

6. Team Leadership & People Management

- Lead and manage the branch team across Sales, Design, Projects, Procurement, Estimation, Finance, and Support functions.
- Set clear goals, KPIs, and performance expectations for team members.
- Review team performance and provide coaching and guidance.
- Build a robust culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer focus.
- Identify manpower requirements and coordinate recruitment with HR.
- Develop and retain high-performing employees.
- Conduct regular team reviews and performance meetings.

7. Process & Operational Excellence

- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, policies, and internal controls.
- Improve branch processes to enhance productivity, quality, and profitability.
- Establish effective systems for project monitoring, reporting, procurement, and commercial control.
- Ensure timely documentation and reporting across departments.
- Identify operational gaps and implement corrective measures.
- Promote standardization and continuous improvement across branch operations.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- 10–15+ years of experience in interior design, commercial interiors, turnkey execution, fit-out, or construction.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a senior leadership / branch management role preferred.
- Strong experience managing large-value interior projects and multiple project teams.
- Proven track record in business development and revenue growth.
- Experience managing P&L;, project profitability, and commercial performance is highly preferred.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
