Role Description The Body Shop Advisor role is a full time, in office position based in Ahmedabad. The individual in this role will be responsible for greeting customers, understanding vehicle body repair and paint requirements, and preparing accurate repair estimates and work orders. Daily tasks include coordinating with technicians, monitoring repair progress, ensuring quality standards are met, and keeping customers informed about timelines, costs, and insurance processes.

Advisor will also manage documentation, liaise with insurance representatives, handle invoicing, and support efficient workflow within the body shop.



This role requires consistent follow-up, strong customer communication, and collaboration with the service and parts teams to deliver timely and reliable body repair services.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information in clear, simple terms.
- Knowledge of automotive body repair processes, paint work, and parts, including basic understanding of repair estimation.
- Experience in coordinating with technicians, managing work orders, and monitoring repair timelines in a workshop or body shop environment.
- Comfort with documentation and basic computer skills, including use of MS Office and body shop or service management software.
- Familiarity with motor insurance claim procedures and coordination with surveyors or insurance representatives is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety.
- Prior experience in an automobile service center or body shop preferred; diploma or degree in automotive or a related field is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, collaborate within a team, and maintain a professional, customer-centric approach.
