BLDC FAN DRIVER
Position: BLDC Fan Driver / BLDC Motor Driver Engineer
Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu
Experience: 5 to 10 Years
Salary: Up to 12 LPA (CTC)

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced BLDC Fan Driver Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience in BLDC motor control and driver electronics. The candidate will be responsible for the design, development, testing, debugging, and validation of BLDC fan driver circuits and related electronic systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop BLDC fan driver circuits for ceiling fans and other applications.
- Develop and optimize BLDC motor control algorithms and drive systems.
- Work with microcontrollers, power electronics, sensors, MOSFETs, gate drivers, and related components.
- Develop and validate sensor-based and sensorless BLDC control solutions.
- Perform circuit simulation, PCB design review, prototyping, testing, and debugging.
- Conduct motor performance testing, efficiency testing, thermal testing, and reliability validation.
- Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, EMI/EMC, noise, vibration, and motor-control-related issues.
- Support product development from concept stage through mass production.
- Work closely with R&D;, Firmware, Hardware, Mechanical, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
- Select and evaluate electronic components based on performance, cost, availability, and reliability.
- Prepare technical specifications, test reports, design documents, and validation reports.
- Support root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions for field and production issues.
- Guide junior engineers and provide technical support to the engineering team.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of BLDC/PMSM motor control and drive technology.
- Good understanding of FOC, six-step/120 commutation, speed control, torque control, and motor starting techniques.
- Hands-on experience with MCUs, MOSFETs, IGBTs, gate drivers, current sensing, Hall sensors, and protection circuits.
- Knowledge of embedded systems and firmware integration.
- Experience with motor-control debugging using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers, and other test equipment.
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC, surge, over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit, and thermal protection.
- Understanding of PCB hardware design and design-for-manufacturing principles.
- Experience in testing and validation of BLDC motor drives.
Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in BLDC ceiling fan / appliance motor driver development will be highly preferred.
- Experience in consumer electronics, motor drives, or power electronics is an advantage.
- Candidates with strong hands-on experience in BLDC driver product development and troubleshooting are preferred.
