Role: Junior BIM Coordinator (INDIA)

** Given the global nature of our projects, we are seeking candidates with experience delivering large-scale corporate workplace interiors, preferably on UK and/or US projects.

The role requires close collaboration with international project teams and the flexibility to support UK and US working hours as project requirements dictate. While support for UK projects is expected during overlapping business hours, US project work can be performed remotely from anywhere in India. Role Overview The Junior BIM Coordinator will support the delivery of global workplace projects through BIM-enabled design development, model coordination, information management, and technical documentation.

This role is suited for professionals with 2–3+ years of experience in BIM coordination, architectural modeling, and multidisciplinary project environments. The position bridges design intent and project execution, working closely with Project Architects, Engineers, the AI BIM Team, and global project teams across North America, EMEA, and SEA.

The successful candidate will contribute to model quality, project coordination, asset information delivery, and emerging digital delivery initiatives while supporting the continuous improvement of BIM standards and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

BIM Coordination & Model Management

- Develop, maintain, and coordinate BIM models in accordance with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and internal standards.
- Compile and manage federated coordination models across architecture, interiors, MEP, and other project disciplines.
- Perform clash detection, model reviews, and issue tracking using Navisworks, Autodesk Forma, and Trimble Connect.
- Support coordination meetings, document actions, and track issue resolution throughout project lifecycle stages.
- Monitor model health, data quality, naming conventions, parameters, worksets, and documentation standards.
- Support project teams with model-related queries and day-to-day BIM coordination activities.
- Assist in maintaining project Common Data Environments (CDE) and digital collaboration workflows.
- Ensure model quality, information accuracy, and compliance with project BIM standards and client requirements.

Information Management & Digital Delivery (Good to have)

- Support Asset Information Modeling (AIM) requirements and project information management workflows.
- Populate, validate, and manage asset data, shared parameters,



and project information within Revit models.
- Assist in delivering structured model information to support project handover and operational requirements.
- Support model audits, data validation exercises, and information quality reviews.
- Contribute to project documentation, including BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), model management procedures, and coordination records.
- Ensure project deliverables align with internal standards, client requirements, and information management objectives.
- Support project teams in complying with established BIM workflows, information requirements, and digital delivery standards.

Documentation & Deliverables (Good to have)

- Prepare and update drawing sets, schedules, presentations, and project deliverables.
- Support drawing and model quality reviews before internal and external submissions.
- Support project teams in producing models and documentation aligned with project requirements and design intent.

AI, Automation & Innovation

- Support project teams in the effective use of BIM authoring and coordination tools.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve project efficiency through automation, Dynamo scripts, AI-assisted workflows, and digital tools.
- Support the development and maintenance of BIM content, templates, families, and project standards.
- Participate in AI BIM Team initiatives focused on innovation, process improvement, and digital transformation.
- Stay informed about emerging BIM technologies, Digital Twin applications, and industry best practices.
- Assist in evaluating and implementing tools that improve model quality, information management, and project delivery efficiency.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

- Work closely with architects, interior designers, engineers, and multidisciplinary project teams to support integrated project delivery.
- Support onboarding and training initiatives related to BIM workflows, project standards, and coordination processes.
- Participate in internal training programs, knowledge-sharing sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of BIM standards, workflows, templates, and best practices.
- Provide day-to-day support to project teams on BIM-related processes and coordination activities.

Qualifications and Experience

Education

- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

- 2–3+ years of experience in BIM coordination, BIM modeling, or multidisciplinary project delivery environments.
- Experience working on commercial workplace, corporate interiors Project is preferred.
- Experience supporting model coordination, clash detection, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Experience with Asset Information Modeling (AIM), structured data delivery,



or information management workflows is an advantage.
- Exposure to Digital Twin projects, smart building technologies, or operational asset data environments will be considered an added advantage.
- Experience working with international teams, ISO 19650 information management principles, or global project standards is preferred.
- Experience supporting Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows and project information management processes is an advantage.

Technical Skills

- Good working knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
- Experience using Navisworks for model federation, clash detection, and coordination reviews.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Forma, or similar Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms.
- Exposure to Trimble Connect and model collaboration workflows is preferred.
- Understanding of construction documentation, architectural detailing, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Experience managing BIM content including families, templates, parameters, schedules, and project standards.
- Experience with data population, validation, and information management within Revit models.
- Understanding of Asset Information Modeling (AIM), asset data structures, and project information requirements.
- Understanding of ISO 19650 principles, information management workflows, and Common Data Environment (CDE) requirements.
- Familiarity with model status management, information exchanges, naming conventions, document control practices, and information delivery processes aligned with ISO 19650.
- Understanding of Project Information Requirements (PIR), Asset Information Requirements (AIR), and model-based deliverables is an advantage.
- Knowledge of COBie, asset tagging, equipment data management, or related information exchange standards is an advantage.
- Exposure to Dynamo, automation workflows, AI-enabled BIM tools, or digital delivery solutions is preferred.
- Familiarity with Digital Twin platforms, connected building technologies, or operational asset management environments will be considered an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
