Role Description The BIM Coordinator — MEPF is a full-time, on-site role based in Mangaluru. This position is responsible for coordinating BIM models for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEPF) systems across multidisciplinary project teams. Day-to-day tasks include managing federated BIM models, reviewing clash detections, ensuring model quality and compliance with project standards, and integrating MEPF designs with architectural and structural models.

The role involves collaborating closely with engineers, architects, and project managers, preparing model-based documentation,



and supporting 4D/5D workflows for scheduling and quantity take-offs. The BIM Coordinator also contributes to process improvement, template development, and the adoption of best practices in BIM execution.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in BIM Coordination and Building Information Modeling (BIM), including experience with common BIM platforms and standards.
- Candidates should possess applied knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEPF) systems and their integration within building projects.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Architecture and multidisciplinary coordination between architectural, structural, and MEPF models.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills to manage BIM tasks, deadlines, and collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in relevant BIM and CAD tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and clash detection software).
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and model accuracy.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in coordinated engineering teams.
- A diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related engineering/architecture field, and experience in AEC or industrial projects, is highly beneficial.
