Industry: Power Transmission / Substation / EPC

We are looking for an experienced Billing Engineer with strong experience in Power Transmission Line and Substation EPC projects, particularly 765kV Power Transmission Lines and 765kV Substations.

The candidate will be responsible for project billing, quantity measurement, BOQ verification, quantity reconciliation, client/subcontractor billing, and billing documentation for large-scale 765kV Power Transmission and Substation projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and submit Client RA Bills and Subcontractor Bills as per contractual requirements.
- Handle billing activities for 765kV Power Transmission Lines and 765kV Substation projects.
- Verify site measurements, quantities, BOQ items, and work completion before billing.
- Prepare quantity reconciliation and maintain detailed billing records.
- Review BOQ, work orders, drawings, specifications, and contract terms.
- Coordinate with Site Execution, Planning, Contracts, Commercial, and Finance teams for timely bill submission and certification.
- Track bill certification, payments, deductions, and outstanding amounts.
- Prepare material reconciliation and quantity statements.
- Ensure proper supporting documentation for client billing and subcontractor billing.
- Handle extra items, variation claims, deviations, and rate analysis as applicable.
- Prepare monthly billing reports, MIS, and project billing statements.




- Coordinate with clients/consultants for bill verification, certification, and approval.
- Maintain records of measurements, invoices, certifications, and billing correspondence.
- Ensure billing is carried out in accordance with contractual terms, BOQ, and project requirements.
- Support commercial and project teams in quantity reconciliation and cost monitoring.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of RA Billing, BOQ, Quantity Surveying, and Quantity Reconciliation.
- Hands-on experience in Power Transmission Line and Substation EPC projects.
- Mandatory/Preferred: Experience in 765kV Power Transmission Lines and/or 765kV Substation projects.
- Good understanding of EPC contracts and billing procedures.
- Experience in client billing and subcontractor billing.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and billing documentation.
- Valuable understanding of measurement, BOQ, rate analysis, variation, and reconciliation.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Willingness to work at project/site locations in Gujarat.
