Job Summary

Behavioral Science Researcher position offers an excellent opportunity to apply behavioral and human-centered research methods to understand how healthcare workers, patients, and organisations engage with AI solutions in practice.

The Behavioral Science Researcher offers an excellent opportunity to apply advanced analytical and technical skills in evaluating and deploying AI models within real-world healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct site walkthroughs and stakeholder interviews to understand the implementation ecosystem

- Map patient pathways and process workflows to assess the alignment of AI solutions to the problem context and existing user workflows

- Assess user comprehension and perception of AI solutions (e.g. learning curve, uptake, retention, abandonment, ease of use)

- Provide structured feedback and recommendations on product interface, training content, and implementation methods to improve adoption

- Assess cognitive fit and interpretability of AI outputs (comprehension rate, heuristic alignment, actionability)

- Evaluate intermediary and long-term impact of AI solutions on workflows, clinical decision-making pathways, and patient pathways

- Quantify user trust and reliability in AI-solutions over time

- Evaluate behavioral drivers influencing adoption at individual and organizational levels (e.g. incentives, motivation, reputation, qualified identity, peer norms)

- Collaborate with operations, clinical, and ML/AI teams to translate findings into actionable insights

Job Specifications





- MS/PhD in Human Computer Interaction, Behavioral Science, Digital Society or related field

Specific Skills

- Excellent communication and facilitation skills to work across technical, clinical, and social science teams

- Excellent project management and organizational skills

- Meticulous attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

- Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

- Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with partner organizations

- Willingness to frequently travel to study sites to support pilot deployments

- Minimum 3 years of experience in usability research, task analysis, or behavioral studies related to technology adoption

- Demonstrated experience with qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods (e.g. system usability, cognitive walkthroughs) classification, natural language processing, or computer vision applications
