Job Title: Bar Manager

Location: Bandra & Andheri East, Mumbai

Salary: ₹80,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month

About the Role

Amaru is seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to lead bar operations and drive beverage excellence. This leadership role is responsible for managing the bar program, team, and service standards at Amaru while also overseeing beverage operations at our sister outlet What’s Your Plan.

This is an excellent prospect for a seasoned hospitality professional who is passionate about mixology, bar innovation, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating memorable guest experiences while ensuring operational efficiency, strong cost control, and a high-performing bar team.

Key Responsibilities

Bar Operations & Management

- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service across both outlets
- Maintain high standards of beverage quality, presentation, and service
- Manage bar inventory, stock control, and procurement of beverages and bar supplies
- Monitor beverage costs and maintain effective cost-control measures

Beverage Program Development

- Design and update cocktail menus in alignment with the restaurant’s concept and guest preferences
- Introduce seasonal cocktails and innovative beverage offerings
- Ensure consistency in drink preparation and presentation across the bar team

Team Leadership

- Train, mentor, and supervise bartenders and bar staff
- Ensure team adherence to service standards, grooming, and bar etiquette




- Build a motivated and efficient team capable of delivering excellent guest experiences

Guest Experience

- Engage with guests and create a welcoming bar atmosphere
- Handle guest feedback professionally and ensure quick resolution of concerns
- Support the floor team during peak service hours to maintain seamless operations

Compliance & Hygiene

- Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all bar areas and equipment

Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, wines, and bar operations
- Leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent guest engagement and communication skills
- Strong inventory management and cost control understanding
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment

Qualifications & Experience

- 4–7 years of experience in bar operations within restaurants, bars, or hospitality venues
- Previous experience as a Bar Manager or Senior Bartender preferred
- Strong understanding of cocktail techniques and beverage trends
- Experience in multi-outlet operations is an advantage
