Job Summary

AceNet Consulting is seeking a skilled Backend Developer with 6+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python and Node.js, REST API development, PostgreSQL, cloud deployments on Microsoft Azure, and CI/CD automation. Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python (FastAPI/Flask/Django) and Node.js.
- Build robust, secure, and high-performance RESTful APIs for enterprise applications.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Integrate backend services with frontend applications and third-party APIs.
- Develop secure authentication and authorization mechanisms following industry best practices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability for production environments.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and production issues.
- Deploy and manage backend services on Microsoft Azure App Services and Azure cloud environments.
- Implement source control and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and development best practices.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in backend application development.
- Strong expertise in Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django) and Node.js.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.




- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL, database design, query optimization, and indexing.
- Experience integrating backend services with frontend applications and third-party APIs.
- Hands-on experience deploying applications on Microsoft Azure App Services and Azure cloud platforms.
- Experience using GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and CI/CD automation.
- Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and backend security best practices.
- Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing backend applications.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have

- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to Azure DevOps or other CI/CD platforms.
- Knowledge of message queues such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Azure Service Bus.
- Experience with caching technologies such as Redis.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cosmos DB.
- Experience working on enterprise-scale digital transformation or consulting projects.
