ChatSpark is an audio calling and social platform that enables users to connect through 1:1 audio conversations.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer who can build and maintain scalable backend systems, APIs, payment integrations, real-time communication, and third-party integrations for our platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and JavaScript.
- Build and optimize REST APIs and WebSocket-based real-time features.
- Work with MongoDB for database design, queries, optimization, and data management.
- Integrate and maintain payment gateways such as Cashfree and Razorpay.
- Work with Agora for real-time audio calling and communication.
- Develop and manage wallet, payment, transaction, and user-related systems.
- Handle third-party API integrations, webhooks, and external services.
- Implement real-time events and notifications using WebSockets.
- Debug production issues and improve backend performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Ensure secure authentication, authorization, data handling, and API communication.




- Collaborate with frontend/mobile developers for smooth API and feature integration.
- Work with Git/GitHub, Postman, server environments, and other backend development tools.

Required Skills
- 2 years of hands-on backend development experience
- Strong knowledge of Node.js & JavaScript
- Strong experience with MongoDB
- Hands-on experience with WebSockets and real-time applications
- Experience integrating payment gateways such as Cashfree, Razorpay, or similar
- Experience with third-party API integrations
- Experience with Agora or similar real-time communication APIs
- Positive understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, and API security
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub and Postman
- Understanding of server deployment, debugging, and performance optimization
- Knowledge of Boolean logic/queries and database optimization
- Experience with Redis, Docker, AWS, CI/CD or similar technologies will be an added advantage.
