Job Title: Azure Ai Engineer

Job Location: Bengaluru/Hyderabad

We are looking for an experienced Azure AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy production-grade AI and Generative AI solutions on Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, RAG, Copilot Studio, AI Agents, and Azure AI Services. The role involves building scalable AI applications, agentic workflows, document automation, speech solutions, and enterprise-grade RAG systems with a strong focus on security, performance, reliability, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop AI copilots and AI agents using Azure OpenAI and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
- Build production-grade Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using Azure AI Search.
- Implement vector, semantic, and hybrid search, embeddings, chunking, re-ranking, and query optimization.
- Develop AI applications using LLMs, function/tool calling, prompt engineering, and agent orchestration.
- Build speech solutions using Azure AI Speech, including Speech-to-Text, Text-to-Speech, diarization, and translation.
- Implement document processing and data extraction using Azure AI Document Intelligence.
- Integrate AI solutions with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, and external APIs.
- Develop workflow automation using Azure Functions and Power Automate.
- Implement LLMOps practices including prompt management, evaluation datasets, A/B testing, version control, and AI application monitoring.
- Implement Responsible AI practices including Azure AI Content Safety, PII detection,



and data protection.
- Implement Azure security best practices using Microsoft Entra ID, Managed Identity, Azure Key Vault, private endpoints, and secure networking.
- Build CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Implement monitoring and observability using Azure Application Insights and OpenTelemetry.
- Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, runbooks, and knowledge-transfer materials.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, or related fields.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience working with Azure AI services.
- Strong experience with Azure OpenAI and Generative AI.
- Hands-on experience implementing RAG solutions using Azure AI Search.
- Robust understanding of vector search, semantic search, hybrid search, embeddings, chunking, and re-ranking.
- Experience with Copilot Studio, AI Agents, or agentic AI workflows.
- Hands-on experience with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, or Prompt Flow.
- Strong programming experience in Python and/or C#.
- Experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, asynchronous programming, and API integrations.
- Experience with one or more vector databases such as Azure Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL/pgvector, or Redis.
- Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and Azure deployment practices.
- Experience with Azure security services including Entra ID, Key Vault, Managed Identity, and Private Endpoints.
- Understanding of AI governance, Responsible AI, data privacy, and tenant/data isolation.
