Azure Infrastructure Architect

Experience: 12+ Years (5+ Years in Azure Infrastructure)

Role Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Azure Infrastructure Architect with strong expertise in Azure platform operations, infrastructure optimization, scalability, and cost management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing Azure PaaS services, driving performance improvements, supporting production environments, and engaging directly with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and optimize Azure PaaS services, including App Services, SQL Managed Instance, Storage, and Networking.
- Define and implement scaling strategies (vertical and horizontal) based on workload trends and business requirements.
- Perform SKU optimization, right-sizing, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Monitor platform health, alerts, availability, and performance metrics.
- Configure and manage Auto-Scaling and Auto-Heal capabilities.
- Collaborate with Microsoft and customer stakeholders on technical discussions and solution improvements.
- Provide recommendations on cloud spend, TCO analysis, and operational efficiency.




- Support and enhance production environments while ensuring platform reliability and performance.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Infrastructure and PaaS Services.
- Expertise in Azure App Services, SQL Managed Instance, Storage, and Networking.
- Strong understanding of scaling, workload analysis, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Azure monitoring, alerting, and operational support.
- Knowledge of auto-scaling, auto-heal, and platform optimization techniques.
- Exposure to Azure cost management and TCO optimization.
- Ability to work effectively in a client-facing workplace.

Preferred Skills

- Azure Networking expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience in Azure migration and modernization projects.
- Production support and operational excellence experience.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 12+ years of overall IT experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on Azure Infrastructure experience.
- Strong background in Azure Operations, Production Support, and Platform Management.
- Experience handling enterprise-scale Azure environments and customer engagements.
