Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Architecture & Solution Design

- Design scalable, secure, highly available, and cost-optimized AWS solutions aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Architect multi-account, multi-region, and hybrid cloud environments using AWS Organizations, Control Tower, Landing Zone, and AWS Outposts.
- Prepare HLD, LLD, architecture diagrams, implementation plans, migration strategies, and operational documentation.
- Conduct architecture reviews and recommend improvements for performance, security, resilience, and cost optimization.

Infrastructure & Platform Architecture Design and implement enterprise solutions using AWS services including, but not limited to:

- Compute: EC2, Auto Scaling, ECS, EKS, Lambda, Batch
- Networking: VPC, Transit Gateway, VPC Peering, Route 53, Direct Connect, VPN, PrivateLink, Load Balancers (ALB/NLB), Security Groups, Network ACLs, AWS Network Firewall
- Storage: S3, EBS, EFS, FSx, Storage Gateway, AWS Backup
- Database: RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, Redshift

Security & Governance

- Design secure cloud architectures using IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, AWS Config, GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail, WAF, Shield, and SCPs.
- Implement Zero Trust principles, identity federation, encryption, network segmentation, and compliance controls.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Benchmark, PCI-DSS, and government security standards.

Migration, Automation & DevOps

- Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives using the 7R migration framework.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and CloudFormation) and automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines.




- Support containerized and serverless architectures using Docker, ECS, and EKS.

Cost Optimization & Operations

- Optimize AWS environments through right-sizing, Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, lifecycle policies, and tagging strategies.
- Configure AWS Cost Explorer, Cost & Usage Reports, Budgets, Cost Anomaly Detection, Athena, Glue, and QuickSight for billing analytics and governance.
- Drive proactive monitoring using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config, Systems Manager, and Trusted Advisor.

Customer Engagement:

- Lead customer workshops, solution presentations, architecture reviews, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
- Support RFPs, RFIs, solution sizing, pricing, and technical proposals.
- Mentor engineering teams and establish cloud architecture best practices.

Required Skills

- 12+ years of IT experience with 10+ years in AWS Solution Architecture
- Strong hands-on expertise in AWS compute, networking, storage, databases, security, monitoring, and automation
- Experience designing hybrid cloud solutions integrating on-premises infrastructure with AWS
- Robust understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Direct Connect, routing, load balancing, firewalls, and enterprise networking
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, Bash, Git, and CI/CD
- Experience with container platforms (Docker, ECS/EKS) and microservices
- Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, networking, security, databases, and cloud services
