Data Engineering & Delivery

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data products across cloud-based platforms.
- Own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Build and optimise ELT/ETL processes to support analytical and operational data workloads.
- Develop reusable frameworks, components, and automation to improve engineering efficiency and consistency.

Technical Skills & Experience

Core Technologies

- Data Warehousing: Snowflake
- Programming: Python (preferred), or strong experience in Java, Scala, or C# with willingness to transition to Python
- Data Transformation: dbt
- Workflow Orchestration: Apache Airflow

Cloud & Infrastructure (AWS) Hands-on experience with:
- Amazon S3, ECS / AWS Fargate, IAM, CloudFormation, OpenSearch, AWS-native data integration and storage services

Software Engineering
- Strong understanding of Git-based development workflows, pull requests, branching strategies, and code reviews.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Knowledge of software design principles, data structures, algorithms, and scalable application development.
- Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies.

Required Qualifications
- 6–8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Data Platform Engineering.
- Proven experience building and supporting enterprise-scale data solutions.
- Strong SQL and data modelling skills.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and distributed data processing environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
