Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Lead with strong expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, and Cucumber (BDD Framework) to lead automation testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks, mentoring team members, ensuring quality deliverables, and driving test automation best practices across projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the automation testing team and define automation strategy for projects.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Java, and Cucumber Framework.
- Develop and enhance scalable automation frameworks following industry best practices.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into automated test scenarios.




- Review automation scripts and ensure adherence to coding standards and quality guidelines.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
- Identify, track, and report defects using test management and defect tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Mentor junior automation engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Prepare test reports, automation metrics, and status updates for stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills
- 7 to 12 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
- Strong programming skills in Java.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Solid expertise in Cucumber (BDD Framework).
- Experience in framework development and maintenance.
- Good understanding of TestNG/JUnit.
- Experience in API testing using Postman or Rest Assured.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Experience with Maven/Gradle build tools.
- Exposure to Docker and containerized testing environments.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
