Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in testing customer-facing airline digital applications. The ideal candidate should have experience in Airline Booking, Hotel Booking integration, and/or Manage My Booking (MBB) flows, along with strong expertise in test automation, API testing, and end-to-end integration testing.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse business requirements, user stories, functional specifications, and end-to-end customer journeys.
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and integrated systems.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Test Airline Booking and Reservation flows, including:
- Flight search and availability
- Flight selection and fare validation
- Passenger details and traveller information
- Ancillary services
- Payment processing
- Booking confirmation and PNR generation
- Test Hotel Booking journeys integrated within the airline website or application, including:
- Hotel search and availability
- Hotel selection and pricing
- Guest and traveller details
- Payment and booking confirmation
- Booking modification and cancellation
- Refund, failure,



and error scenarios
- Test Manage My Booking (MBB) flows, including:
- Retrieve bookings using PNR or booking reference
- View and manage existing bookings
- Flight or travel date changes
- Passenger detail modifications
- Adding or modifying ancillary services
- Booking cancellation and refund scenarios
- Validate end-to-end integrations between frontend applications, backend systems, APIs, and third-party providers.
- Perform API testing and automation for microservices and system integrations.
- Perform backend and database validation using SQL.
- Validate data consistency across frontend, APIs, and backend systems.
- Develop and maintain automated regression test suites.
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify, document, track, and manage defects using Jira.
- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other project stakeholders.
- Support UAT, production validation, and post-release verification activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks and QA processes.
