About the Role

We are looking for an AI Automation Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Playwright and a strong interest in AI-powered and Agentic AI-based test automation.

The candidate will design and develop automated testing solutions for web applications and APIs and work closely with developers, AI engineers, product managers, and QA teams to improve software quality and testing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright.
- Create automated UI, API, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases.
- Develop reusable and maintainable Playwright automation scripts.
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
- Explore and implement AI-assisted and AI-agent-based testing workflows.
- Use AI/LLM tools for test case generation, test data creation, test analysis, and automation maintenance.
- Validate AI-generated test cases and automation scripts.
- Analyze test failures and identify root causes.
- Perform API testing and validate backend responses.
- Report, track, and troubleshoot software defects.
- Work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Participate in requirement and design reviews.
- Continuously improve test coverage, automation reliability, and execution efficiency.

Required Skills
- 2–5 years of experience in QA Automation / Software Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Good programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.




- Experience in developing automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of UI, API, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End testing.
- Experience with REST APIs and tools such as Postman.
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub/GitLab.
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

AI & Agentic Testing – Preferred

Experience with any of the following will be an advantage:

- AI-powered test automation
- AI agents for software testing
- LLM-assisted test case generation
- AI-generated Playwright scripts
- AI-based test failure analysis
- AI-assisted test maintenance
- Agentic AI workflows for QA
- MCP-based testing workflows
- OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or other LLM APIs
- Prompt engineering for test automation

Candidates who have hands-on experience building AI agents that can interact with applications, execute test scenarios, analyze results, or generate/update Playwright scripts will be highly preferred.
