Salary: Up to 35k
Role Description: The Automation Programming Engineer is a full time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation programs that support the operation and optimization of training equipment, including bowling machines and related control systems. Day-to-day tasks include writing and testing code for automation workflows, configuring and troubleshooting CNC and PLC systems, integrating new hardware and software components, and ensuring safe, reliable performance of automated equipment.
The role also involves collaborating with operations and coaching staff to understand performance requirements, documenting technical processes, and implementing improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and user experience.
The engineer is expected to perform routine diagnostics, preventive maintenance support, and implement upgrades in line with industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in general Programming and Automation for industrial or equipment control applications.
- Candidates should possess skills in CNC Programming for configuring, operating, and optimizing computer-controlled machinery and systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in PLC Programming and working with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems for automation and process control.
- Relevant experience in industrial automation, robotics, or equipment control, preferably in sports technology, manufacturing, or similar environments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals, with solid troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with safety standards, preventive maintenance practices, and documentation of technical processes and configurations.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work cross-functionally with operations and coaching teams, and readiness to work on-site in a fast-paced environment.
