Role Description The AutoCAD Drafter role at Nifty Interio is a full-time, on-site position based in Kottur. The drafter will prepare detailed 2D drawings and plans using AutoCAD for interior layouts, joinery, furniture, and other project components as guided by the design team. Day-to-day responsibilities include converting design concepts into technical drawings, updating and revising drawings based on feedback, and coordinating with designers and project managers to ensure drawings align with site conditions and client requirements.

The role also involves creating and organizing drawing sets, maintaining drawing standards, and supporting site teams with explicit,



accurate shop and architectural drawings. The drafter is expected to adhere to project timelines, quality standards, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Drawing and general Drawing for interior and architectural projects.
- Candidates should possess skills in preparing Shop Drawings for joinery, furniture, and interior fit-out details.
- Candidates should possess skills in generating and interpreting Architectural Drawings and basic Architecture concepts relevant to interiors.
- Candidates should be proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of other CAD or visualization tools (e.g., SketchUp, Revit) is an advantage.
- Candidates should have attention to detail, spatial awareness, and the ability to follow design specifications accurately.
- Candidates should possess good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with designers, engineers, and site teams.
- A diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant drafting experience.
- Familiarity with local building standards, materials, and interior construction practices will be beneficial.
