Role Description As an Audio Mixing Engineer Intern at MnA Studios, you will support the audio team in mixing and refining music tracks, soundscapes, and project audio for artists, brands, and content creators. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing and editing session files, applying EQ, compression, and effects under guidance, balancing levels, and preparing mixes and stems for mastering. You will collaborate with producers, composers, and sound designers, participate in feedback sessions, and help ensure consistent audio quality across projects.

This is an internship role and is fully remote,



offering flexible collaboration with the team and exposure to professional workflows in music and audio production.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational skills in audio engineering, including basic mixing, editing, and signal flow.
- Experience using digital audio workstations (e.g., Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, FL Studio, or similar) and common audio plugins.
- Understanding of core audio concepts such as EQ, compression, reverb, stereo imaging, and gain staging.
- Ability to organize sessions, manage tracks and stems, and maintain clean, well-labeled project files.
- Good musical ear for balance, tone, and space, with attention to detail in timing and tuning.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with remote teams and receiving constructive feedback.
- Self-directed, reliable work habits with the ability to meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Interest in music production, sound design, or audio post-production; prior project or portfolio examples are highly beneficial.
- Relevant coursework, training, or certification in audio engineering, music production, or a related field is a plus.
