Athletics Ticket Scanner

Position Summary The Athletics Ticket Office Assistant/ Ticket Scanner is responsible for providing excellent customer service while ensuring effective and accurate entry for all ticketed athletic events. This position serves as the first point of contact for fans entering the venue by scanning mobile tickets, assisting with ticket-related issues, and creating a welcoming game-day experience.

Essential Duties

Scan and validate mobile tickets for all ticketed athletic events.

Assist fans with accessing and displaying mobile tickets on their devices.

Troubleshoot common ticketing issues,



including barcode scanning errors, account access problems, and incorrect ticket displays.

Direct guests to the appropriate entrances, seating sections, and venue amenities.

Provide friendly, professional customer service while answering questions and resolving concerns.

Work collaboratively with box office staff, ushers, and event personnel to ensure efficient crowd flow and timely venue entry.

Follow ticketing, security, and event operations procedures to maintain a safe and organized environment.

Report complex ticketing or customer service issues to supervisors as needed.

Represent the athletic department in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
