Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate hardware asset records in the ServiceNow Hardware Asset Table , ensuring high quality,
audit ready data across all lifecycle stages and across all Business Units.
- Govern hardware asset management processes across ServiceNow, Intune, and Entra ID, ensuring configuration alignment, ownership accuracy, and policy compliance.
- Plan and coordinate end user hardware lifecycle activities including requests, procurement forecasting, deployments, refresh programmes, returns, and secure disposal.
- Lead inventory reconciliation cycles across ServiceNow, Intune, Nexthink, Entra ID and regional inventories; analyze discrepancies, drive remediation, and report outcomes.
- Develop, maintain, and improve asset management standards, lifecycle policies, naming conventions, and operational handoff processes.
- Produce operational, compliance, audit, and executive reporting on asset accuracy, lifecycle progress, exceptions, and governance KPIs.
- Support vulnerability management by ensuring accurate asset to owner mappings and device traceability.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities leveraging PowerShell, ServiceNow workflows, and Azure automation to reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy.
- Participate in service governance reviews, recommending continuous improvement actions and driving operational excellence across regions.
Your Skills and Experience: The ideal candidate will have hands on experience managing end user devices at enterprise scale, with strong understanding of ServiceNow Hardware Asset Table, asset lifecycle processes, and integration with modern device management platforms.
Specific requirements:
- 3–5 years operational experience in IT asset management or endpoint management
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow Hardware Asset Table, asset records, lifecycle workflows and reconciliation practices
- Working knowledge of Intune, Entra ID and related device identity concepts
- Experience coordinating hardware lifecycle activities with vendors and internal fulfilment teams
- Understanding of governance,
audit requirements and evidence traceability for device assets
- Strong reporting and data analysis capability (PowerBI and Log Analytics advantageous)
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage data quality at scale
- Analytical mindset with strong problem solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
Beneficial skills:
- ITIL 4 Foundation certification
- Automation skills (PowerShell, ServiceNow Flow Designer, Azure automation)
- Experience with digital experience analytics tooling (e.g., Nexthink)
- Experience supporting multi region or global asset management operations
- Knowledge of endpoint tool integrations and compliance processes
Purpose of this role: The purpose of this role is to ensure accurate, compliant, end to end management of hardware assets across their entire lifecycle, enabling financial transparency, operational efficiency, and audit ready governance. The role safeguards data quality in the Hardware asset table and supports Business Units by maintaining control, standards, and visibility of the device estate.
Nature of work:
- Maintain complete, accurate, and audit ready hardware asset records in the ServiceNow Hardware asset table across all lifecycle stages — procurement, deployment, in service use, refresh, return, and disposal.
- Ensure asset data quality, reconciliation accuracy, and compliance with Zurich’s global governance, audit, and financial reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with regional Business Units, vendors, procurement, finance, and operations teams to track assets, verify ownership, and maintain lifecycle integrity.
- Identify discrepancies, perform regular data quality checks, and drive remediation activities to maintain a trusted Hardware asset table.
- Support internal audits, regulatory reviews, and reporting obligations by ensuring complete and traceable asset records.
- Contribute to process improvements, automation, and standardization of asset workflows to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
- Provide clear reporting, dashboards, and insights to stakeholders, enabling informed decision making across the organization.
- Hybrid Working: This role follows Zurich’s hybrid working model and requires presence in the office 3–4 days per week, with flexibility based on business and team needs.
