Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Associate Manager - Sales to lead business development and retailer expansion across the assigned territory. The role is responsible for driving sales growth, strengthening the retailer network, managing field execution, and ensuring the achievement of business targets through effective planning, retailer engagement, and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Business Development

- Drive sales growth by acquiring and developing current retailer and pharmacy partners within the assigned territory.
- Identify market opportunities and execute strategies to expand the retailer network.
- Build long-term relationships with retailers to maximize engagement, retention, and repeat business.
- Ensure achievement of monthly sales and revenue targets.

Retailer Network Management

- Lead retailer onboarding and activation initiatives to strengthen market presence.
- Maintain regular engagement with retailers to improve business performance and customer satisfaction.
- Address retailer concerns promptly and ensure a seamless onboarding and support experience.
- Monitor retailer performance and implement initiatives to improve productivity.

Territory Field Management

- Plan and monitor daily field activities to ensure effective market coverage.
- Coordinate with field executives and cross-functional teams for smooth execution of sales initiatives.
- Conduct regular market visits to assess business opportunities, competitor activities, and retailer requirements.
- Ensure adherence to company processes and operational standards across the assigned territory.

Performance Management Reporting

- Track sales performance against targets and implement corrective actions wherever required.
- Analyze sales trends, retailer performance,



and market insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare and submit periodic sales reports, business updates, and market intelligence to management.
- Maintain accurate records of retailer onboarding, activations, and business achievements.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Minimum 25 retailer visits per day
- Minimum 50 retailer registrations and activations per month
- Generate a minimum business volume of 5 lakh per month
- Achievement of assigned sales and revenue targets
- Retailer acquisition, activation, and retention
- Territory coverage and market expansion
- Sales reporting accuracy and compliance

Qualifications

- Graduate in any discipline.
- 2-5 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Channel Sales, or Field Sales.
- Experience in the Retail, FMCG, Healthcare, or pharmaceutical industry will be preferred.
