: Associate Director - Talent Acquisition
Position Title: Associate Director - Talent Acquisition
Reporting To: Senior Director
Location: Hyderabad
Job Summary The Associate Director - Talent Acquisition will lead the organization's talent acquisition strategy and execution, ensuring the attraction, engagement, and hiring of top talent across all business functions. This role is responsible for managing recruitment operations, building high-performing recruitment teams, driving workforce planning initiatives, enhancing employer branding, and partnering with business leaders to meet current and future talent needs. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership capabilities, expertise in talent acquisition practices, data-driven decision-making skills, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders while delivering exceptional hiring outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Talent Acquisition Leadership
- Develop and execute enterprise-wide talent acquisition strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
- Partner with executive leadership and business unit leaders to forecast talent requirements and workforce needs.
- Establish scalable recruitment frameworks, processes, and governance models.
- Drive continuous improvement in hiring effectiveness, quality of hire, and candidate experience.
Recruitment Operations Management
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment activities across multiple geographies, business units, and functions.
- Ensure achievement of hiring targets, time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire metrics.
- Monitor recruitment pipeline health and proactively address hiring challenges.
- Manage recruitment budgets, agency partnerships, and vendor performance.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on talent market trends, hiring strategies, and workforce planning.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Compensation teams, and business leaders to optimize hiring decisions.
- Influence hiring managers on best practices, diversity hiring, and talent assessment methodologies.
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Talent Acquisition Managers, Recruiters, and Sourcing Specialists.
- Establish performance goals, career development plans, and capability-building programs.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence within the recruitment team.
Employer Branding and Talent Marketing
- Strengthen the organization's employer brand through targeted campaigns and recruitment marketing initiatives.
- Drive campus, social media, employee referral, and diversity recruitment programs.
- Build strategic talent communities and pipelines for critical skill areas.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
- Champion diversity hiring initiatives and inclusive recruitment practices.
- Track and report diversity metrics and progress against organizational goals.
- Partner with leadership teams to ensure equitable hiring processes.
Recruitment Analytics and Technology
- Leverage data, reporting, and analytics to improve recruiting outcomes and workforce decisions.
- Drive adoption and optimization of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), recruitment tools, and AI-enabled hiring technologies.
- Develop dashboards and reports for leadership review.
Compliance and Governance
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, equal employment opportunity regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain recruitment process documentation, audits, and governance standards.
- Mitigate hiring risks through robust screening and assessment processes.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- Master's Degree / MBA in Human Resources is preferred.
Experience
- 15-20 years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience.
- Minimum 8+ years of leadership experience managing recruitment teams.
- Proven experience leading large-scale hiring programs across multiple business functions.
- Experience in IT/Technology, Healthcare Services, BFSI, Shared Services, or Consulting environments preferred.
