About the Role

We are looking for an Assistant Sales Manager to drive sales and business development for Tonello S.r.l. garment dyeing, washing and finishing machinery across West, Central and North India.

The ideal candidate will have experience in textile processing, garment washing, dyeing, finishing, industrial laundry, or textile dyes & chemicals, along with an interest and aptitude for technical B2B sales.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop new customers and identify business opportunities for Tonello machinery.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers in garment dyeing, washing, denim, laundry and textile finishing.
- Understand customer processes and recommend suitable machine solutions.
- Conduct customer visits, technical presentations and machine trials.
- Manage leads, quotations, follow-ups and the sales pipeline.
- Coordinate with technical teams for machine trials, proposals and machine selection.
- Develop relationships with owners, production, processing, technical and purchase teams.
- Identify opportunities for machine upgrades, additional machinery, spares and services.
- Monitor market trends, competitors and emerging applications.




- Achieve assigned sales and business development targets.

Candidate Profile
- 35 years of experience in textile processing, garment washing, dyeing, finishing, industrial laundry, textile dyes & chemicals or related industries.
- Experience in technical sales / B2B sales will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of textile processing and garment washing/dyeing processes.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and customer-handling skills.
- Self-driven with strong follow-up and relationship-building abilities.
- Willingness to undertake extensive travel across West, Central and North India.
- Candidates who have experience interacting with garment laundries, production teams, processing heads or technical teams will be preferred.

Education B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma / Graduate in Textile, Chemical, Mechanical or a related field is preferred.
