Role Description The Assistant Professor of Pharmacy will be responsible for delivering lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in core and elective pharmacy subjects to undergraduate and postgraduate learners. This full-time, on-site role located in Jalandhar I includes designing course materials, preparing lesson plans, and aligning teaching with regulatory and accreditation requirements. The position involves guiding learners in laboratory work, supervising projects, mentoring on academic and professional development, and maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in pharmaceutical sciences, including areas such as pharmacology, pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, and clinical pharmacy.
- Demonstrated teaching abilities, including classroom instruction, lab facilitation, learner assessment, and use of diverse pedagogical methods.
- Research aptitude with the ability to design studies, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and guide learners in academic projects and dissertations.
- Competence in academic administration, such as curriculum contribution, documentation for regulatory bodies, and participation in departmental activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with learners, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Master’s degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) from a recognized institution; Ph.D. in Pharmacy or related discipline is preferred.
- Ability to use educational technologies and digital tools for teaching, assessment, and learner support.
