Role Description The Assistant Professor role at Career Buddy Club x Guru Nanak College, is a full time, on-site position based in Dehradun. The individual in this role will deliver high-quality classroom instruction, design and update curricula aligned with CBC’s focus on career readiness, and integrate practical industry insights into academic content. Day-to-day responsibilities include mentoring students, guiding them in career planning, supervising projects, and coordinating with industry professionals to facilitate guest lectures, workshops,



and experiential learning activities.

The Assistant

Professor will also contribute to academic administration, participate in institutional events such as Career Buddy Fest, and support CBC’s mission of bridging education and employment through collaborative initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong teaching, curriculum development, and student mentoring skills, with the ability to connect academic concepts to real-world applications.
- Experience collaborating with industry professionals or employers to design practical learning experiences, workshops, or career-focused programs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups of students in an inclusive manner.
- Demonstrated ability to support students’ personal and professional growth, including guidance on career planning, resumes, and interview preparation.
- Master’s or higher degree in a relevant academic discipline from an accredited institution; prior teaching or academic experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to work on-site in Dehradun, contribute to institutional events and initiatives, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with modern pedagogical methods, educational technology tools, and student-centered learning approaches is an advantage.
