Role Description This full-time, on-site Assistant Production Manager role is based at our manufacturing facility in Indore. The role involves overseeing daily production activities, monitoring line performance, and ensuring products meet quality, safety, and hygiene standards.

The Assistant Production

Manager supports planning and scheduling, coordinates with procurement and maintenance teams, and helps manage inventory of raw materials and packaging.

Responsibilities include supervising production staff, providing on-the-floor guidance, implementing process improvements, and maintaining accurate production records and reports. The role also contributes to meeting output targets,



reducing wastage, and supporting audits and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

- Experience in production or manufacturing operations, preferably in food (Biscuit), FMCG, or a similar process-driven industry.
- Knowledge of quality assurance, food safety standards, and hygiene practices (e.g., HACCP, FSSAI guidelines) is highly beneficial.
- Strong skills in planning, organizing workloads, and managing production schedules to meet daily and weekly targets.
- Ability to supervise and motivate shop-floor teams, with a focus on training, performance, and secure work practices.
- Comfort with using basic production reporting tools, spreadsheets, and ERP or manufacturing systems for data entry and analysis.
- Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with quality, maintenance, logistics, and management teams.
- Degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Production Management, or a related field is preferred.
