We’re Hiring: Assistant Manager – Supply Chain Finance
Location: Bengaluru
Experience: 7–8 Years
Industry Experience: Manufacturing / Supply Chain Finance mandatory
Qualification: B.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Supply Chain Finance to manage the end-to-end financial aspects of job work, subcontracting, and contract/toll manufacturing operations .
The role will be responsible for job work accounting, inventory controls, commercial monitoring, reconciliations, P2P controls, statutory compliance, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Job Work Accounting – SAP
- Handle job work accounting and Job Work POs in SAP.
- Track variances in job work process orders.
- Verify job work charge invoices before MIRO processing by the Accounts Payable team.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, including IFRS 15, IAS 2, and other applicable statutory audit guidelines.
Job Work Commercials & Agreement Monitoring
- Understand supply chain processes related to job workers and contract manufacturers.
- Monitor financial and operational commercials as per job work agreements.
- Raise debit notes for quality rejections, output SLA/non-performance penalties, inventory shortages, and other applicable recoveries.
Inventory Controls
- Manage inventory movements to job workers under Gross/Net Material Movement approaches.
- Monitor direct shipments across multiple locations under Bill-To / Ship-To scenarios, including GST implications.
- Coordinate periodic physical stock verification at vendor locations.
- Monitor production consumption and inventory of company-provided materials, job worker-procured materials, spares, components, and finished goods.
- Track BOM variances and drive timely corrective actions.
- Monitor RM and FG inventory holding at job work locations and implement appropriate SAP controls.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as a key liaison between Purchase, Product Heads, Manufacturing, and Finance teams for output planning, monthly closing, and commercial processes.
P2P Controls
- Manage and monitor GR/IR clearance, vendor reconciliations, advances, credit terms, and related controls within an SAP environment.
Tax, Regulatory Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with applicable indirect tax regulations for co-manufacturing/job work operations.
- Track job work challans and ensure material returns within statutory timelines.
- Support internal and external audits relating to subcontracting and job work cycles.
- Ensure timely information sharing with Finance teams for inventory and receivables insurance.
What We’re Looking For
- 7–8 years of relevant experience.
- Manufacturing / Supply Chain Finance experience is mandatory.
- Hands-on exposure to job work/contract manufacturing processes , including Loan Licensee and/or P2P models.
- Strong understanding of inventory accounting, subcontracting, and supply chain finance.
- Advanced knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP MM/FI , Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong reconciliation capabilities.
- Ability to analyse and reconcile vendor reports with internal ledgers and system data.
- Solid communication and negotiation skills, particularly for resolving quantity discrepancies, commercial recoveries, and penalty clauses with third-party vendors.
