About the role

Responsible for sourcing and procurement of packaging materials to ensure optimum cost, quality, service, and supply continuity. Drive supplier management,



cost-saving initiatives, contracting, and cross-functional projects aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage sourcing activities including RFQs, negotiations, auctions, and contract finalization.
- Drive cost-saving and cost management initiatives through value engineering and market benchmarking.
- Lead packaging-related projects focused on quality improvement, cost optimization, and supply assurance.
- Build and manage supplier relationships, monitor supplier performance, and ensure supply continuity.
- Conduct spend analysis and support near-term and mid-term sourcing strategies.
- Drive supplier capacity planning and readiness based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, R&D;, and Commercial teams to deliver business objectives.
- Resolve supply disruptions, quality issues, and other sourcing-related crises in a timely manner.

Skills

- 4-8 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing/Procurement, preferably in packaging categories.
- Solid commercial negotiation and contracting skills.
- Good understanding of supplier management and cost optimization.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive outcomes without direct authority.
- Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Agile, proactive, and accountable with a high sense of ownership.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills with suppliers and industry stakeholders.
