Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Manager - Quality Assurance (IPQA) to lead and manage in-process quality assurance activities on the production floor The role is key to ensuring product compliance, GMP adherence, and smooth coordination between QA and production teams

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all IPQA activities including line clearance, in-process checks, and sampling during manufacturing and packaging

Review and approve Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs) and Batch Packaging Records (BPRs)

Lead investigations of deviations, non-conformities, and ensure timely execution of CAPA

Drive compliance with cGMP, GLP, and internal quality standards across departments

Guide and train IPQA officers/executives in routine inspections and documentation practices

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, QC, R&D;) for quality improvement initiatives

Participate in internal audits, regulatory inspections, and ensure audit readiness at all times

Analyze quality trends and proactively resolve recurring issues on the shop floor

Maintain robust documentation and ensure adherence to SOPs, change control, and quality systems

Sc in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences

Experience:

5 to 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance (IPQA) within the cosmetics, skin care, or oral care manufacturing industry

Key Skills:

Hard Skills:

Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO 22716, and regulatory standards

Expertise in CAPA, deviation handling, root cause analysis, and change control processes

Familiarity with production environments and batch documentation in cosmetics/personal care

Soft Skills:

Robust leadership and people management skills

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt to dynamic manufacturing environments

High attention to detail with a proactive and process-driven mindset
