Role Overview

As an Assistant Manager - IPQA, you will play a critical role in ensuring in-process quality across all manufacturing stages

You ll be the bridge between production and quality assurance, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of safety, efficacy, and compliance right from raw material handling to final packing

Key Responsibilities

Oversee in-process quality checks across various production lines (Skin Care, Cosmetics, Oral Care)

Monitor GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), hygiene standards, and quality protocols on the shop floor

Conduct line clearance, in-process sampling, and documentation as per SOPs

Collaborate with production and R&D; teams to troubleshoot quality deviations and implement corrective actions

Prepare and maintain QA documentation, including batch manufacturing records (BMR), deviation reports, and change control

Support audits (internal and external), and ensure compliance with regulatory and customer-specific requirements

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality systems and processes

Train floor personnel on quality practices and SOP adherence

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Certifications

Pharm / M

Pharm / B

Sc / M

Sc (Chemistry, Microbiology, or Life Sciences)

Certification in GMP, ISO, or Quality Systems is an added advantage





Hard Skills

Sound knowledge of IPQA procedures and quality systems in personal care or pharma manufacturing

Familiarity with regulatory standards (GMP, ISO 22716, FDA, etc)

Proficient in handling BMR, deviation, CAPA, and change control documentation

Basic understanding of analytical tools and microbiological testing (a plus)

Soft Skills

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Proactive and process-driven mindset

Ability to work cross-functionally and manage time efficiently

Preferred Experience

3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in IPQA within cosmetic, personal care, pharmaceutical, or related manufacturing industries

Experience in handling audits and client inspections is highly desirable
