Overview The Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective and effective execution of operational processes while driving team performance and continuous improvement. This position is responsible for managing service delivery within agreed SLAs, resolving process-related issues, and maintaining essential documentation.

Manager fosters innovation, promotes automation, and implements best practices to enhance process efficiency.

How you'll make an impact

Responsibilities:

- Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality service delivery in alignment with agreed SLAs for assigned processes.

- Research to resolve issues, document process, and propose solution.

- Upskill team process knowledge and resolve process related queries.

- Reconciling General Ledger Accounts, Bank and Intercompany Accounts.

- Review/Approve Reconciliation Accounts.

- Perform month end activities e.g. preparing and uploading journal entries, etc.

- Review and investigate reconciliation variances in a timely manner.





- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

- Identify opportunities to streamline reconciliation processes and improve efficiency.

- Management and clearing of Open items, including timely communication to stakeholders of aged open items.

- Assist the Reporting Officer with both internal and external audit by maintaining and providing requested supporting and answering queries raised.

- Review Training need analysis both process and non-process related.

- Foster innovation and automation mindset within team, driving continuous improvements – process efficiencies, automation, best practices implementation.

- Prepare and publish real time/weekly/monthly operational dashboard/reports, highlighting key metrics and anomalies.

- Support mergers and acquisitions by following due diligence and integration of operations.

- Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Review/Update the Financial Policies to team and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

- Communicate effectively with COE and Divisions regarding reconciliation issues.

- Update SOP, Error Log and other relevant documents.

- Conduct Process Trainings.

- Implement best practices and automation tools where applicable.

- Review the QA Findings and take necessary actions.





- Prepare/Approve complex Reconciliation Accounts.

- Conduct regular calibration and refresher sessions.

About you

Qualifications:

- Education

- Bachelor/Master Degree in Commerce or Semi Qualified Accountant (CA/CPA).

- Work Experience

- Minimum 1.5 years as Asst/Team Manager.
Overall experience of 7-8 years in reconciliations such as Cash/Bank, Balance Sheet and Intercompany.

- - Skills and Competencies

- Good Accounting knowledge.

- Intermediate/Advance Excel knowledge.

- Good attention to detail and accuracy.

- Good communication.

- Proactive and able to work independently and meet tight reporting deadlines.

- Ability to effectively work and lead the team.

- Flexible and able to prioritize tasks.
