Job Purpose The Executive - Customer & Site Support - Electrical conducts electrical inspections and testing of wind turbine installations, ensuring compliance with operational standards and design specifications. This role addresses customer complaints, performs on-site diagnostics, and implements corrective actions for electrical issues.

The position maintains documentation, provides training to customer staff, collaborates with site teams and contractors, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and safety of electrical systems in turbine operations.

Responsibilities Electrical Inspections and Testing at Customer Sites

- Conduct electrical inspections of wind turbine installations, including verification of cable connections, grounding systems, and power distribution panels.




- Perform tests such as continuity checks, insulation resistance measurements, and thermographic scanning to ensure electrical systems meet operational standards.

Support for Electrical Complaints and Troubleshooting

- Address electrical-related customer complaints, conducting on-site diagnostics using tools like multimeters, power analyzers, and fault recorders.
- Implement corrective actions to resolve issues such as electrical noise, insulation breakdowns, and communication failures in control systems.

Verification of Electrical Installations

- Inspect the installation of electrical components, including transformers, switchgear, and control panels, to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Validate protection settings, including relay coordination, overcurrent protection, and fault isolation measures, critical for turbine safety.

Documentation and Standards Compliance

- Maintain accurate records of all electrical inspections, test results, and corrective actions, ensuring traceability and compliance with site standards.
- Ensure that all electrical QA activities at the site adhere to standards such as IEC 60364 (Electrical Installations) and local grid requirements.

Training and Customer Support

- Provide training to customer staff on electrical system maintenance, fault diagnosis, and safe operation of wind turbine electrical components.
- Assist customers in interpreting electrical performance data,



including power quality measurements and fault analysis.

Coordination with Site Electrical Teams and Contractors

- Collaborate with site electrical teams and contractors to ensure quality standards are met during installation and commissioning.
- Support lead roles in conducting electrical audits and inspections, ensuring corrective measures are implemented promptly.

Continuous Improvement and Feedback Loop

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing insights on common electrical issues observed during site visits.
- Support the development of enhanced QA procedures for electrical systems, aimed at minimizing faults and enhancing operational efficiency.

Safety and Compliance Assurance

- Ensure all electrical activities at the site comply with safety regulations, including arc flash protection, grounding procedures, and safe isolation practices.
- Monitor compliance with electrical safety standards and ensure all work adheres to best practices for wind turbine installations.

Qualifications Educational Background:

- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

Work Experience

- 5+ years of experience in electrical quality assurance and in office support.

Industry Knowledge

- Expertise in electrical testing, troubleshooting, and compliance with standards for wind turbine electrical systems.
