Role Description

We are looking for a Assistant Manager- Design Operations with a robust design background to manage client relationships and ensure seamless delivery of design solutions. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between clients and internal design teams, ensuring clear communication, high-quality output, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage day-to-day design operations across multiple projects
- Assign tasks to freelance designers, agencies, and internal team members
- Ensure work is delivered on time, within scope, and meets quality standards
- Review and provide constructive feedback on design outputs (graphics, branding, UI/UX, etc.)
- Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and design resources
- Build and maintain a reliable pool of freelance designers and vendors
- Create clear briefs, timelines, and workflows for all design projects
- Track project progress, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues
- Maintain consistency in brand guidelines and visual identity across all deliverables




- Optimize design processes, tools, and collaboration methods for efficiency
- Manage budgets related to freelance and external design resources
- Ensure proper documentation and version control of design assets

Requirements

- Background in Design (Graphic Design, Communication Design or related field)
- 2-3 years of experience in design and/or design operations
- Strong understanding of design principles, tools, and trends
- Proven experience managing freelancers or external agencies
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar
- Detail-oriented with a strong eye for aesthetics and quality

Preferred Skills

- Experience in scaling design teams or managing high-volume design workflows
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com)
- Basic understanding of marketing, branding, and digital content strategies
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup or agency environment
