Job Summary

- We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Manager IT to manage and support the end-to-end IT infrastructure and operations at our Gulbarga factory location. The role involves ensuring high availability, security, compliance, and operational efficiency of IT systems while coordinating with business users, plant operations, corporate IT teams, vendors, and auditors.
- The ideal candidate should possess solid hands-on expertise in networking, cybersecurity, Microsoft technologies, factory IT systems, IT governance, and service management

Key Responsibilities 1. IT Infrastructure Management

- Manage and maintain complete IT infrastructure at the factory.
- Ensure uptime and availability of network, servers, internet links, and end-user systems.
- Monitor IT assets and maintain lifecycle management.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for issue resolution and preventive maintenance.
- Support factory expansion projects and new IT deployments.

2. Network Administration

- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot:
- FortiGate Firewalls
- Aruba Managed Switches
- Aruba Wireless Access Points
- WAN & LAN Connectivity
- Internet Leased Lines
- VPN Connectivity
- Implement network security controls and access management.
- Monitor network performance and bandwidth utilization.

3. Microsoft Ecosystem Management

- Administer and support:
- Microsoft 365
- Exchange Online
- Microsoft Teams
- SharePoint Online
- OneDrive
- Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)
- Manage user provisioning, licenses, security groups, and access rights.
- Implement Microsoft security best practices and compliance requirements.

4. Endpoint Security & Compliance

- Manage Microsoft Defender Security Suite.
- Ensure endpoint compliance across desktops and laptops.
- Implement and monitor:
- BitLocker Encryption
- Endpoint Protection
- Device Compliance Policies
- Vulnerability Management
- Coordinate security patch management activities.

5. MDM & Device Management

- Manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
- Configure compliance policies for laptops, mobiles,



and tablets.
- Enforce corporate security policies through device management platforms.

6. CCTV & Physical Security Systems

- Manage and monitor:
- CCTV Surveillance Systems
- NVR/DVR Infrastructure
- Access Control Systems
- Visitor Management Systems
- Coordinate with security and facility teams for incident management.

7. Audio Visual (AV) Solutions

- Support conference room technologies.
- Manage:
- Video Conferencing Systems
- Meeting Room AV Equipment
- Digital Signage Solutions
- Ensure seamless operation of hybrid meetings and events.

8. IT Service Management

- Manage ticketing and support activities through:
- ManageEngine Service Desk Plus
- IT Helpdesk Portals
- Ensure adherence to SLA commitments.
- Conduct root cause analysis and preventive action planning.

9. Peripheral & User Support

- Support and manage:
- Printers (Network & Multifunction)
- Barcode Printers
- Scanners
- EPABX / IP Telephony Systems
- Biometric Devices
- Factory Shop-floor Endpoints
- User Computing Devices

10. IT Governance, Compliance & Audits

- Ensure adherence to:
- IT General Controls (ITGC)
- Corporate IT Policies
- Information Security Standards
- Internal Audit Requirements
- Prepare and maintain audit documentation.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
- Track compliance observations and closure activities.

11. Documentation & Process Management

- Develop and maintain:
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Safe Work Procedures (SWP)
- Network Diagrams
- Asset Registers
- Disaster Recovery Documentation
- Operational Checklists
- Incident Reports
- Change Management Records

12. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

- Coordinate with OEMs,



system integrators, ISPs, and support vendors.
- Work closely with:

- Ensure timely resolution of business-critical issues.

13. Cybersecurity & Risk Management

- Monitor security incidents and vulnerabilities.
