Role Description The Article Trainee will support audit, accounting, and tax assignments under the supervision of senior team members in a full-time capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in statutory and tax audits, preparing working papers and schedules, and helping with bookkeeping and financial statement preparation. The role also involves support in tax computation and filing, documentation of audit evidence, and compliance-related tasks.

The Article

Trainee will be expected to learn and apply relevant accounting and auditing standards, maintain accurate records, and contribute to client service delivery.



This is an on-site role based in Bengaluru, providing hands-on exposure to professional practice in a chartered accountancy firm.

Qualifications

- Should possess a foundational understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial statement preparation.
- Should possess skills in basic auditing procedures, documentation of audit evidence, and compliance with accounting and auditing standards.
- Should possess knowledge of direct and indirect taxation concepts.
- Should possess proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools, with the ability to work with financial data accurately.
- Should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Should possess effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eligible to commence Article Training (should have passed both the groups at Intermediate level).
- High level of integrity, willingness to learn, and ability to manage time and multiple assignments in a professional setting.
